Sunday School is awesome!

Today was another great day in Sunday School!

Thank you to everyone as always who helped contribute toward making this day such as success.  From each and every bus worker that did outreach, wake-up, pick-ups and drop-offs, to the Sunday School teachers, to Sis. Janelle running the check-in table and the snacks, to Sis. Bolger in the store, to the guys that help setup and tear down the jumpers, carpet, banners and signs, no one is unappreciated and all of your efforts are noticed.

Good job on ABC (Willows) apartments!  Today we had the most kids from there that we have had so far… very exciting.  We received a phone call on the bus line early this morning from a flyer that was given yesterday and as a result we had 7 or 8 new kids come.  Really neat!

Keep up the good work!  Let’s make each and every street produce as many kids as possible!  Hit them hard on outreach and during the week.  Pray for them every day and see what God can do.

Great Kid's Church and Some New Additions

Another day of Sunday School has passed and one which I believe was not wasted.  We had some neat things happen today, not the least of which was the Kid's Church for the 11 year olds and up.  Bro. Joel Booker taught today and it was very good and resulted in a lot of kids praying for the Holy Ghost (see pictures on the HGR blog).  Two of them were SO close to getting the Holy Ghost and there were many others praying.  It was really a neat time.

In addition, we had a few new things happen such as the banner welcoming the kids to Sunday School, the newly designed, custom-printed birthday cards and the new jumper or bounce-house for the girls.

Our attendance again was rather light and likely this was a result of the reduced force on Saturday due to the Bible Quizzing tournament.  Next week though, should be fantastic as we are joining forces with the entire church to hit this city hard to encourage them to visit on Easter Sunday.

Wasabi and Ginger Potato Chip Day

We had a great day at Sunday School!  Someone donated an insane amount of wasabi and ginger potato chips and we were able to give some of the kids as much as they could carry. It was fun and more than a little interesting to watch their reactions to the rather startling taste.

Sunday School & Bus - March 1, 2015

We had another great day of Sunday School with a LOT of kids!  We had a great outreach yesterday with many of our youth joining us and with their help we had 105 bus kids come... very exciting.
