Rough Sunday - Mission Still Accomplished

With MANY of our bus workers, one bus, a bus driver and several Sunday School teachers gone due to Winter Retreat and life's responsibilities today promised to be a rough one.  Somehow our incredible team still pulled it together and managed to make everything work with some swapping of buses, drivers and teachers.

Somehow, all things tend to work themselves out even though the bus workers that come down early were extremely tired and had to work twice as hard as normal.  THANK YOU ALL!

We heard some exciting reports from Winter Retreat where our youth group was able to a beautiful touch from God... we are so excited with everything that is happening.

Baptism Sunday - 6 baptized in Jesus Name!

We had an awesome service this morning!  We have been pushing for many of the bus kids that have received the Holy Ghost to be baptized in Jesus name and we made February 15th our goal.

This morning we had a great turnout with some of the kids' families coming to see this great moment.

Sunday School - 2/8/2015

We had another great day at Sunday School.  The attendance was quite high and a great time was had by most.

In this picture, it looked like Avelyn Booker was protecting the gate so no one could go through it.  When I pointed it out, all of the other kids wanted to join in.  Very cute.

 

Our lesson this week was about the Tower of Babble and below are pictures of the 11-13 year old class making their own towers out of marshmellows.
