The birds are chirping and all is right in the world...
We had another great day of Sunday School and I know the birds are chirping because one of the Sunday School kids caught one and was carrying it around for a while... yikes!
Thank you once again to everyone that helped...
Attendance was still low but we are working on breaking the summer slump. In Jesus Name!

Sunday School on a hot day...
Looking sharp taking up the offering. |
Things took their toll on both the bus workers and kids alike but God was still good to us and we had a great children's church which was preached by Bro. Adam Pierce who did a GREAT job talking about "Rowing Your Own Boat".
Thank you to all of the bus workers and Sunday School teachers that were able to chip in. It made ALL the difference.
The attendance numbers were really down so we are going to have to work harder than ever to get them back up where they need to be...

Family day fun at Inland Lighthouse!
The month of May is at an end and it has been a very busy weekend at Inland Lighthouse Church with the craft fair and the bilingual family day. While we did not have our traditional Sunday school classes in effect the buses still ran, we still picked up many kids and we had a great time in the process.
We saw several new kids come as a result of outreach so once again congratulations to everyone that showed up for prayer and outreach on Saturday.
Thank you to everyone that sacrificed their sleep and still came to bus ministry even though there was no church service. Your dedication is not overlooked and we appreciate everything that you did! Thank you also to sister Janelle and sister Rene for coming early and providing the food and to everyone else that helped out in any way at all.
We have a great team of bus workers right now and it is so neat to see all of the people in orange shirts greeting them as they come off the bus, mingling with them, making them balloons, playing basketball with them and otherwise just making them feel like they are the most important people on earth. That is what it is all about. Connect with them so they can connect to God.
Congratulations this week go to Frank Felix, Emily Thomas and Billy Blair for bringing eight kids from Orchard Heights a.k.a. Harvest Glen for a new high attendance number. Great work!
